This is where you begin to ramp up the speed to your desired performance pace (which may be different from mine!). Ensure that you include all the ornamentation at this stage so that when you reach the desired pace that you don’t run into difficulty. You should now consider where you want to place your breaths as this pace is reasonably close to your final target. You could also incorporate the suggested variation in Step 5 into this part.
