A forum has been included on the site. This is designed primarily to help users with any issues that might arise, and to establish a community feel. As there is no on-going support included in this site it's hoped that many of the issues encountered will be addressed by fellow users.

There are currently about 30 classes available. Other classes will be posted as time allows. . It may be a while as, unfortunately, through some cruel twist of fate, it has been ordained that I must work for a living.

There are almost 130 individual classes in the Scoiltrad range, featuring 6 instruments and 11 tutors. These were all recorded in our custom built studio in Baile Bhúirne, Co. Cork between 2000 and 2004, which was generously grant-aided by Údarás na Gaeltachta. We divided the range into three learning levels, beginner, intermediate and advanced.

These classes are offered free of charge to all users. However, copying and re-distribution in any form is not permitted. It may be necessary in the future to host some advertisers on the site to help defray hosting costs etc, so the more often people call back to the site, the better.

Please note: These classes are almost ten years old and were created for the Internet of the early 2000s. Video elements have been enlarged and re-compressed, which should greatly enhance the user's experience. We hope you have a good time here in Scoiltrad
