This variation can be applied either the fourth or eight bar as both are the same bar. The original bar is FEDC DEFG. The variation that I use is FEAC DEFG. This involves dropping down to the low A on the G string, which produces a nice effect. Try using the open A as opposed to the low A it doesn’t produce the same effect.
Variation 2
This occurs in the third part at bar 3 .The original involves a C with a triplet on the open E string followed by CEEC. Its the second part of the bar that is changed the bar now consists of C with a triplet on the open E followed by a high A and a triplet on the E string.
