Occurs in the first bar of the first part. Instead of playing the C on the A string I drop down to the C on the G string and come up the scale playing the E,on the D string open A and B.
Variation 2
Occurs in the fourth bar of the second part. Instead of playing the C,A,B,G , I play the C,E, G sharp B.
This variation introduces the G sharp to great effect.
