Tony Linnane : Caislean an Oir

This variation can be played either at the second last bar of the first or second part as both bars are the same. Instead of playing CAAC DBGB I drop down to the D string and play CAAC BGGA. It’s an ideal place for a variation as the bar is repeated a lot throughout the tune.
Variation 2

This variation occurs in the same bar as var 1. Instead of playing CAAC DBGB this time I go up in pitch and play Croll open E drop back to the D on the A string ,B,G,B.this variation shows how if your technique is correct variations will come a lot easier.
