This neat little ornamentation features the notes of Bb, and C# among others. Bb is a note I find terrific to use on the chanter. Not very traditional…yeah yeah yeah. It’s great and add a lot to many many tunes. Unfortunately, it really needs a Bb key on the chanter, which I am assuming most advanced players will have. If you don’t – sorry – but you’re missing out on a lot of fun! The C# of course is no problem.

 

This variation is simple but effective. Instead of the recurring D´E´D´D´B.
I simply exchange a few notes to give me D´ C# E´ D´ B.
Doesn’t look like much on paper, but it sounds good!
