Eoin O Riabhaigh: Miss McCleod's

This is a nice variation in bar 4 of the 1st part that introduces a nice arpeggio movement from the bottom D to the top D. Try using the Cnat key (if you have one) for a subtle change in the flavour of the Cnat notes.

Variation 2

This variation, in the 4th bar of the 2nd part features a nice run up to the high Cnat, which, when executed properly, sounds very impressive. Because this goes so high into the top octave, it can be a little daunting at
the beginning. Don’t worry too much about the octave dropping, far more important to work on a nice smooth run using the C nat key, keeping a nice controlled tempo.
