Aidan Coffey : Baile Bhuirne Polka

Use this audio track to learn the basic melody of part A, which is rather simple. You'll notice some grace notes (crushed notes) here and there. Omit them initially and include them later once you are confident of the tune. The grace notes help to emphasise important ‘beat’ notes in the tune. The most common grace note that occurs in this part of the tune is A before the F#. Generally, when you're organising your fingering, ensure you leave one available to play the grace notes as required.

Part B 50% Use this audio track to learn the basic melody of part B, which is also simple. Like part A, you'll notice the grace notes again here. Omit them initially and include them later once you are confident of the tune. The grace notes help to emphasise important ‘beat’ notes in the tune. The grace notes as they occur in this part of the tune are F# before D and E before C#. As mentioned earlier, when you're organising your fingering leave one available to play the grace note
